Christmas at the Molin's
The fact that Christmas is coming, is usually shown by all the christmas lights coming up some time after Thanks giving...
we normally take our chances to get out hiking with the kids on our days off
You also have all the activities ending, here: Linn's Winter Dance Recital
and after a while, we accept that christmas is coming, and start doing those christmassy things, like the ginger bread house...
..and the ginger bread cookies
..and last day before christmas, even the star gets up!
and we are officially ready!
yey, Santa arrived this year too!!
he even brought gifts all the way from the North Pole (=Sweden)
well well, what might that be...? Thank you Arla :-)
and Christmas is saved ! Swedish chocolate, cheese, and even mom's home made christmas fudge - ahhhh
..and it seems christmas is saved for Hans as well: Lego !!
The girls got scooters. lots of balance training..
with a lot of pride and scraped elbows...
And since we don't have snow, we took the girls watching some houses where people were very "enthusiastic with christmas lights"
why not mix it all, santa, reindeers, nutcracker & ginger bread man, oh and of course the nativity scene. All in your drive way. (With a dancing snowman at your mail box)
But this was the favorite: The tender baby Jesus covered in fake snow, surrounded by Joseph & Mary, the angels, and a HUGE inflated smiling Santa! There you go: Merry Christmas!!
