Ulla & Roland visit (part 1)

first thing was of course to make grandma & grandpa familiar with our favorite places in the neighborhood

This nearby park has it all; a great playground, huge green areas, and also a community center with concerts and activities
|
and it's all located down the street from our house
|
 |
|
Well...this is pretty much how every day started...
|
|
Beside doing tons of work around the house, grandma & grandpa came along to all our activities too: here, Allie at the swedish school
|
gymnastics
|
 |
|
the zoo in San Joan Capistrano
|
and of course some field trips of our own, when the kids were in school. Here Laguna Beach
|
 |
and a beautiful and interesting visit to the Mission in San Juan Capistrano
|
 |
|
with a very american finish, Lunch at Ruby's
|
|
But most of all: quality time with Linn & Allie
|
|
Suddenly we got tons of things done around the house...
|
Grandpa Roland got hired to that spot for 5 weeks; the girls LOVE their swings !

With Roland's help we could finally finish our dream of a wooden deck for as well sun as shade...
|
and 2 days later we could all enjoy it!!
