Weekend in Santa Ynez & Solvang

the house we had rented for the weekend was beautiful

...and very cozy on the inside

Day trip to nearby Solvang - a self claimed "Danish town"

and it was very danish, indeed
|

..with some american infuences of course..

Ahhh, köttbullar and lingonberries...in a light rain shower....can it be more scandinavian??

nice to be able to cook our own meals as well...(the kids enjoying the karaoke deer head on the wall!!)

and finally, we enjoyed some nice evenings when the kids had gone down for the night
