Waimea Canyon, on the west side of the island. A winding road along the canyon finally takes you to the top of the Kalalau Valley, looking out over the Na Pali Coast.

Arriving at the Kalalau Lookout it turned out to be in the clouds this day...









What a spectacular view!!




So we went down to the beach instead to play and relax.

Suddenly, when Linn had the watch: -"Hey Dad, what's that?!"

Hans: -"Wow, whales!" Linn: -"I don't care about the whales, I woke him up. Ha!"

This is the season for Humpback whales to mate and play at the coast of Hawaii.
