Hawaii is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The flight is about five hours from Los Angeles.
	Kauai is all the way to the north-west in the range of islands making up the state of Hawaii. It is also the oldest of the islands. The youngest island is Hawaii or "the big island", which is still an active volcano.
	We stayed at the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort, located 10 min north of Liuhe airport (east side). From the hotel we had 1-2 hours drive to the far nort-west end of the island, and about the same time to the south-west side.
